One thing I’ve learned as a mom is that it can be so hard to feel confident in the products you’re giving your baby. Sometimes it feels like nothing is trustworthy and everything is stressful. I never really would’ve considered myself crunchy until I got pregnant. Soon after learning I was expecting though, I found myself suddenly panicked about the state of the entire world. I’ve tried my best to use as many of the most natural products as possible, and I’ve found a few brands that I love. These brands have different focuses and products, but they are all personally ones that I love using and have only heard positive things about.

Skin Care
Earth Mama Organics:
Earth Mama Organics is one that I cannot recommend enough. They have a great selection of products for moms from pregnancy through postpartum, and for babies and kids of all ages! Their brand focuses a lot on skin care that fits the needs of moms. This means lotions, sunscreen, belly butter, nipple butter, and all the postpartum needs you can think of. They use natural, organic products that tend to avoid a lot of the chemicals you’ll see in similar products from a lot of the big name brands. If you’re interested in checking them out feel free to use the code SIDNEY2024 to get 10% off your order!
Spoiled Mama:
Spoiled Mama is a skin care company for moms that has every skin care item you can think of. They are a non-toxic, vegan brand, that you can go to for body, face, or vaginal products depending on where you are in your motherhood journey. Whether you’re looking for postpartum recovery care, or if you just have bad acne and are looking for something to help with that, Spoiled Mama probably has something you’d like.
Diapers
Honest:
This is a company that will provide you with diapers, skin care, and clothing. They try to create a brand that has transparency about their cruelty-free, natural ingredient, products. Honest is in some ways a one stop shop because they have a little bit of everything. Personally, I’ve used some of their baby products like soap, diaper cream, and diapers. I love love love their diapers. I feel so comfortable putting my son in them and they also have the absolute cutest patterns.
Dyper:
Dyper is a diaper subscription company that will deliver diapers right to your door. If you’re looking for an eco-friendly, chemical-free brand you can’t go wrong with Dyper. I actually put these diapers on my baby shower list because I was so stressed about finding the cleanest products for my baby. I discovered Dyper during my deep dive into what chemicals most big brand diapers can carry. Can someone explain to me why we use chlorine in things we’re putting on sensitive areas of our babies?? Dyper’s diapers are made chlorine free as well as free of any alcohol, fragrances, phthalates and lots of other things you’ll find in your average diapers. If you’re like me and going crazy over every little thing for your baby, it might be worth trying them out. You can get 50% your first subscription box of charcoal diapers with them at this link!
Food
Cerebelly:
Cerebelly is an amazing food brand that is great for babies since they have pouches that are easy to eat. These pouches are particularly special since they were created by a neurosurgeon with the goal are creating a brain supporting baby food. All of their food pouches have a nutrient blend that has 16 brain supporting nutrients, which is more than any other brand I’ve seen. In addition, Cerebelly food has a list of ingredients you can feel safe with. When you check the ingredients you won’t be seeing a list a mile long with hard to pronounce names. You’re going to be seeing the fruits, veggies, and legumes the pouches are labeled with plus their staple nutrient blend, and that’s it! They don’t need to be refrigerated either, which I love because they’re so easy to take on the go. Especially if you struggle with your kids fruit and veggie intake check them out. As someone who’s kid won’t eat anything I don’t eat first, I can vouch that these pouches actually taste good too. So if you do try out Cerebelly you don’t have to feel guilty about giving your kids nasty baby food!
Once Upon a Farm:
Once Upon a Farm has a really great variety of natural, organic food. They test for heavy metals tested and the food comes straight from their farm too! This means you don’t have to worry too much about all the processed chemicals from manufacturing plants. They have a really wonderful variety of food from pouches for younger babies to toddler bars and premade meals. They’re definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for organic, healthy foods.
My Serenity Kids:
My Serenity Kids focuses on creating healthy foods for babies filled with meats and vegetables with no excess sugars. Because they focus so much on limiting sugars while promoting protein and healthy fats, you won’t see many fruits in their foods, so if you have a toddler that will only eat pounds of berries this is a great option to switch up their diet. They have pouches, puffs, and toddler formula so you have some options to choose from when it comes to diversifying your pantry.
Toys
Lovevery:
If you walk into any toy store you’ll notice the abundance of plastic toys. In my effort to produce a natural, crunchy lifestyle for my baby I tried my hardest to avoid as many plastics as possible. Admittedly, our house is still full of plastic toys. I’m just a total sucker for anything that makes my kid smile, so when he thought the mega dinosaur playhouse was cool who was I to say no? That being said, we discovered Lovevery play kits when he was about 8 weeks old and have been getting them ever since. These play kids use wood, silicone, and organic cotton to create developmentally appropriate Montessori toys for your kids. I’ve genuinely never seen toys that interest my son for as long as these do, so even if you don’t care about the plastics these play kits are worth a try.
Green Kids Crafts:
Green Kids Crafts is an environmentally friendly nature based STEAM crafts kit for kids 3+. My son hasn’t reached an age to enjoy these yet, so I can’t speak from personal experience, but I did discover them on my search for natural toy brands. These are particularly great if you’re looking to reduce your environmental impact. They’re definitely toys your kids can learn from, which is so important when choosing new toys. So if you’re a mom of older kids that is looking for environmentally friendly, education toys, Green Kids Crafts could be a good place to start!
